Shrimp Fried Rice

ShrimpFried Rice is a popular Asian dish made with cooked rice, shrimp, vegetables, and eggs, all stir-fried together with soy sauce and seasonings. It's a quick and delicious meal that's perfect for using up leftover rice.

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Pour in the beaten eggs and scramble them until fully cooked. Remove the scrambled eggs from the skillet and set aside with the shrimp.
  4. Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  5. Add the cooked rice to the skillet, breaking up any clumps with a spatula. Stir-fry for a few minutes to heat the rice through.
  6. Return the cooked shrimp and scrambled eggs to the skillet. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using). Stir everything together until well combined and heated through.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste. If desired, drizzle with sesame oil for added flavor and stir to combine.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Shrimp Fried Rice!
